Genealogy sessions are proving popular
The House introduced a weekly Genealogy Club at the beginning of Term Four, and a growing band of devotees is now learning to tap the power of the Internet to track down long-dead ancestors and long-lost family members alike.
Our Genealogy Club is run each Friday starting at 2pm.
Sessions are moderated by self-confessed “genealogy-tragic”, Natalie Coton, who has amassed considerable experience trawling the world’s databases to trace her family heritage.
Broadband-connected computer facilities in both our Multi-purpose room and Internet Cafe are used for the Genealogy Club, so there is never any need for club members to time-share a PC.
Hard-copy printouts of researched material are available in both color and black & white, and can be laser printed up to A3 paper size and laminated if required.
Any wonder our Genealogy Club is a winner with its members!
You too can easily become a Club member and enjoy the benefits of membership.
