Whroo Film Society–August & September screenings

On Thursday, 26 August, Whroo Film Society will be screening Newsfront.

Newsfront, released in August 1978, stars Bill Hunter, Gerard Kennedy, Angela Punch (McGregor), Wendy Hughest, Chris Haywood, John Ewart and Bryan Brown. Director was Phillip Noyce.

 

 

 

 

 

In September, Whroo Film Society will feature Network, starting William Holden, Faye Dunaway, Peter Finch and Robert Duvall. Director was Sidney Lumet.

September’s screen date is Thursday, 23 September.

 

 

 

 

 

Coming in October is L.A. Confidential and then the final screening for 2010 in November is The Wedding Banquet.
